Leadership Training Topics: Most Requested
Over the past 10+ years, Sarah Scala Consulting has provided leadership development programs and interventions on a variety of topics. Client needs and requests have been varied and the five most frequent requests have included:
SLII®: The long history of this proven program supports leadership development. SLII® is the most widely taught leadership model in the world to build situational leaders. SLII® creates a shared process, language, and model for building situational leaders across all levels of an organization. This program is available as: Live In-Person Workshop, Live Virtual Workshop, & On-Demand E-Learning Formats.
Psychological Safety and Diversity at Work: This workshop has been the most requested in 2022. The Psychological Safety workshop offers tips, guidance, and experiential practice to support organizational innovation and creativity. A psychologically safe work environment promotes openness and sharing of new ideas to solve problems and overcome challenges, especially for less-represented employees.
Emotional Intelligence: Workshops and emotional intelligence assessments continue to be requested as a part of clients’ leadership development strategies. I also have a course specifically focused LGBTQ+ EQ. Assessment options include: EQ-i 2.0®, EQ-i 360®, and the Mayer-Salovey-Caruso Emotional Intelligence Test (MSCEIT).
Conflict Management: Conflict does not seem to go away and helping leaders develop skills to manage conflicts continues to be a priority for many of my clients. Using the Thomas Kilmann Conflict Instrument assessment and curriculum, this workshop provides both a simple model and assessment to build awareness of preferences.
Coaching Skills for Manager and Leaders: This program helps to build coaching competencies for managers, leaders, and supervisors. Through this interactive workshop, participants will learn about coaching competencies, neuroscience, and what happens in the brain with different approaches to coaching. Discussion combined with partner, small group activities, and role plays will address both Compassionate change and Compliance change approaches. Through this workshop, participants will gain tools and tips to support change for individuals.
