Helping organizations and people evolve, grow, and thrive all over the world

Over the 20 years I’ve been working with CEOs, CFOs, COOs, business owners, HR Executives, and Learning and Development Leaders, they often have the same kinds of questions and challenges:

  • How do I help my team develop the skills needed to support our organization’s growth?

  • How do we support a more inclusive workplace for LGBTQ+ employees and allies? How do we support our LGBTQ+ employees as they advance to leadership roles?

  • We don’t understand why we are losing people; how do we shift strategy to keep our high performers here?

  • How do we help folks that are moving up from lower level positions into management and leadership positions to succeed in those roles? Can you provide management/leadership training or a development plan for our organization?

  • We have a leader who is great in one area, but not inter-personally savvy; Can that person still work in a leadership role? How should we transition or train them to set them – and us! – up for success?

  • We are having morale issues – can you help us diagnose what is going on and develop a strategy to adjust our internal culture?

I help with all of these areas. This can include working one-on-one with CEOs or HR leaders, coaching individuals who are moving into management or leadership positions, and collaborating with larger parts of the organization to develop strategies. My creative approach integrates sustainable impact, support with empathy, high energy interactions, experiential learning, and collaborative strategy design – all of which are necessary to help people learn how to lead, manage, and work with other people. I help people to develop grit, resilience, and a growth mindset, and am often the trusted partner that supports the many phases of talent management and development. We are a female-owned small business.

I work locally and internationally with headquarters in the Greater Boston area (Watertown) and on Cape Cod (Falmouth). From providing coaching to New England clients in Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Maine, Rhode Island, to training, consulting, and speaking for clients in California, Indiana, New York, Colorado, Arkansas, Texas, Louisiana, Wisconsin, Georgia, Delaware, I am able to support your diverse workforce. Internationally, I have supported clients from Denmark, Canada, China, and Belgium.

My work as a management consultant has resulted in elevated business profitability, increased job satisfaction of millennials, and improved performance and retention of high potentials. I have extensive experience working with organizations that strive to balance excellent performance for their owners, employees, and their communities.

I hold a Masters in Organization Development and Adult Education, as well as Bachelors degrees in Business Management and Adventure Recreation. I am both an International Coach Federation (ICF) Certified Executive coach and Gestalt Certified Coach. I also serve as a committee member of the International Coach Federation, New England Chapter, where I am responsible for the development of educational events, including both virtual and in-person. Sarah Scala is a member of the MA LGBT Chamber of Commerce, National LGBT Chamber of Commerce, Gestalt International Study Center, and Cape Cod Young Professionals.

Sarah Scala Consulting is an LGBT Certified Business Enterprise through the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce and a Certified Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB) through the Small Business Association (SBA).

What Our Clients Say

“I have had the privilege and benefit of learning from Sarah through her presentations. We recently collaborated on a presentation on the topic of coaching and found the experience of working with her both energizing and personally enriching. As my informal mentor, I can attest that she possesses a genuine and caring presence and has an authentic generosity in sharing her depth of experience and knowledge. One of her greatest gifts is her ability to open the door to allow for group dialogue, be present, and share feedback that is honest and transformative. She creates visions and can frame the possibilities which makes her a true champion of people and expert in the field of Organizational Development and Coaching.”
- Sharon Kritkausky, CCTC, HR - Talent Advisor, Concord Hospital

“I have had the pleasure of working with Sarah as a service provider to my organization. She is energetic and enthusiastic in whatever she pursues and has a sincere concern for her clients and their needs. She is creative enough to suggest out-of-the box solutions, yet grounded enough to be realistic in her goals and focus. I have always thought of Sarah as being "scary smart." The depth and breath of her knowledge is amazing.”
- Kathy Schroeder, Training Manager - Retired, Godfrey & Kohn, S.C. Law Firm, Milwaukee, WI

“Sarah dedicates herself to the highest level of quality and excellence in every facet of her work. She is highly motivated and self directed and therefore find ways to be successful in whatever roles she's in and challenges she faces.”
